Rates
There is no charge for an initial 30-minute consultation. The client-therapist relationship itself can be transformative, and the initial meeting allows us to discover whether we are likely to work well together.

Phone calls longer than 5 minutes will be charged at the hourly rate.

Sliding Scale Therapy
Discounted rates (i.e., sliding-scale) for clients paying privately may be available based on demonstrated financial need and the current number of clients receiving services at a reduced fee.
Insurance
I am currently accepting clients from the following insurance companies as an in-network provider:
- Aetna
- First Choice Health
- PacificSource
- Including Legacy Health employees’ plans and Student Insurance Plans (PSU, L&C, Reed, PNCA, UP, Multnomah, & Linfield)
I can also provide services under other insurance companies’ out-of-network coverage (please confirm you have out-of-network benefits if you plan to use them). Of course, I also work with people who decide to pay privately for therapy. Payment of our agreed upon fee or copayment is due at the time of service, and I accept cash, credit cards, checks, and electronic payments (e.g., Square Cash, PayPal). As a courtesy, I am happy to bill your insurance on your behalf. Please contact your insurance company to inquire about mental health benefits before we begin working together and understand how much of my fee your insurance will cover.
It is important to remember that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Ultimately you remain responsible for paying the fees that we have agree upon for psychological services.
